Hi Debbie,
I've just discovered you website today.
Did you find other children of James & Mary? there's a Barbara & Janet on CLDS both in Balmaclellan, I've e-mailed you. have you managed to discover any more emigrants to S.A. I'm like a starving dog with a bare bone looking at the old photos I think Janet Stewart Black(b 1845 /6) features strongly photos 25 & 26 in the album and photo 162 in family memorabilia where she has signed the back. Do you know of any facial recognition software that could help identify the same people in different photos? I wondered if anything was available which took distance between pupils /eyebrows / nose /ears but maybe I've watched too much crimewatch on tv!
