My Family History

After numerous searches in the 1861 census I have at last found records of the Bircham sisters; one of them was indexed under Prucham.  Amelia, Maria and Louisa Bircham were born in Foulsham to parents William Bircham and Mary Ann Sawyer.  I believe that Mary Ann was a sister to my direct ancestor Thomas Sawyer.

So far I’ve been unsuccessful finding them in the 1871 census.  Next step will be to start checking the English marriage indexes or perhaps passenger lists just in case they immigrated.
